A game created by students of Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) Digital Game Department was used as an important element in the storyline of the popular TV drama "Partners season 20" on November 3, 2021 (Wednesday).
In the fourth episode "The Gift" aired on the same day, a charismatic game creator becomes a suspect in a murder case.As the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Mission Unit, to which the protagonist belongs, moves closer and closer to the truth, the work of our students was chosen as the key to the story, the creative element that will delight fans around the world, and the element in the play that will make viewers think deeply about the philosophies surrounding work and freedom.
KCG has assisted in the production of numerous films and TV dramas by providing IT-related advice, digital-related works, and location shooting at the school building.The reason for providing a game work for "Partners" this time was our cooperation with the TV Asahi drama "IP - Cyber Investigation Team," a Thursday mystery series in August.
