KCG Group celebrates its 55th anniversary in 2018!

Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), Japan's first computer education institution, celebrates its 55th anniversary in 2018.Founded in 2004, Japan's first IT professor graduate school, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), produces leaders in the IT industry in Japan and overseas. With the addition of Kyoto College of Gearmanship (KCGM), which trains students in the field of IT and trains them for the electric vehicle age, and Kyoto Japanese Language Training Center (KJLTC), a high-level Japanese language institute designated by the Minister of Justice as a "preparatory course" by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (only 21 schools in Japan), we at KCG Group are committed to making further strides into the next era.

These days, there is a shortage of IT personnel.According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's June 2016 survey on the latest trends and future estimates of IT human resources in Japan, there is a shortage of more than 170,000 people. The report estimates that the number of IT workers will increase to 789,000 by 2030, based on the growing demand for security measures due to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and the spread of electric vehicles. On the other hand, Japanese culture, including anime and cosplay, which have attracted worldwide attention, has had a tremendous impact on young people around the world through the Internet, and the content and IT industries have been the focus of intense attention.Riding this wave, these industries want the best and the brightest.

KCG Group has produced more than 40,000 graduates to date and is said to be the largest faction in the industry, supporting the Japanese IT industry.Amidst the continuing turmoil in the Japanese economy and overseas affairs, the KCG Group has begun to expand into new horizons, building on its history and traditions. While continuing to nurture and produce excellent IT human resources for industry, we have begun to expand our university-wide study areas to the content industry, animation industry, and related ICT technologies. We continue to expand our partnerships with overseas universities, and through the digitization of course content and e-learning, we are creating an unprecedented style of networking. Why don't you study IT at the KCG Group and become a part of Japan's future?
