The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) Sapporo Satellite uses the internet connection to answer the participants' questions for the entrance briefing.
The Sapporo Satellite opened this spring and offers unique lectures by Sapporo-based professors such as Professor Masaki Nakamura (Representative of Desic Co., Ltd.), as well as e-learning classes that are interactive between the main school in Kyoto and the satellite. In addition, seminar instruction (career-enhancing courses) via Internet connection (using Skype, etc.) has started this fall.
In addition to the admission information sessions in which professors are dispatched from Kyoto, we have also set up a system in which participants can communicate directly with faculty members in Kyoto via Internet connection, even when professors cannot attend, to answer various questions from participants and to convey the features of KCGI's education. This also allowed us to increase the number of information meetings.
The next information session will be held on Saturday, October 20.
