The 23rd CG Anime Cup 2011 Japan-France Friendship Games" will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at KCG Kyoto Ekimae School, organized by the Executive Committee of KCG, Kyoto City, Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and others.Prior to this, a screening of selected works from the CG animation contest will be held on Saturday, January 1.

The CG AniCup is a team competition in which CG animation creators from around the world bring their works and form teams according to country to compete for the best results.Each team is composed of five members, and the works are presented in order from "Spearhead" to "General" in the same way as in team competitions of Judo or Kendo, and sometimes a presentation is added.The winner will be decided by the judges, visitors and spectators via the Internet, and the winner will be the one who wins three games.Both Japanese and French creators are preparing their works for the two-day AniCup and are eager to put their country's prestige on the line and win the competition.

After the CG AniCup, at 4:10 p.m., Chinese animation director Wang Chuan (Chairman of Beijing Qingqingju Animation Technology Co., Ltd. and director of the hit animation "Kai Duan") will give a lecture titled "Animation Strategy in China, an Economic Superpower.

Prior to the event, the winning works of the CG Animation Contest were screened at 1:00 p.m. on the 1st.Although they did not make it to the Anika Cup, they are all very good works, and there will be a talk by the authors.Admission is free on both days (no registration required).
