Which is the most interesting Japanese, European, or Taiwanese animation?CG Ani Cup to be held on 27.

KCG Group and Doga Corporation (2-5-11 Nihonbashi-Nishi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City) will hold the "CG Ani Cup 2012" (supported by the Danish Embassy and KYOTO CMEX, with the cooperation of Google and Dwango), a project to support human resource development in media arts by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, on Saturday, October 27, from 7:00 pm at KCG Kyoto Ekimae Campus.Representatives from Japan, the EU and Taiwan will compete in a CG animation competition.This will be preceded by a screening of selected works from the CG Animation Contest, which received entries from all over Japan, at 3:00 p.m. on the same day.

The CG AniCup is a team competition in which CG animation creators from around the world bring their works and form teams according to country to compete for the best results.Each team is composed of five members, and the works are presented in order from "Spearhead" to "General" in the same way as in team competitions of Judo or Kendo, and sometimes a presentation is added.Judges, visitors, and spectators via the Internet will decide the winner, and the winner will be the one who wins three games.Creators from Japan, the EU, and Taiwan are all preparing their prized works for the 27th AniCup and are eager to win the competition.

The screening of the selected works of the CG Animation Contest will showcase all the very best works that did not make it to the Anicap representatives.Admission is free on both days (no registration required).
