On Sunday, October 25, a seminar was held by the university to support "information" classes for school teachers.A large number of participants, mainly information teachers from high schools in the Kinki region, attended the event.Thank you very much.

- (1) Chaos and predictability
- Lecturer: Prof. Satoshi Sakai, Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Kyoto University
- A lecture was given on examples of chaos, where the slightest difference in initial conditions can lead to completely different results, and what happens is unpredictable.
- (2) Multimedia network programming using Doolittle
- Lecturer: The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics Professor Shozo Naito
- The lecture explained the OSI reference model, IP addresses, etc., contrasting the networking mechanism with the explanations in current textbooks, and involved the creation of a chat system in a hands-on training format.
Both lectures were attended by faculty members who listened attentively and seemed to be interested in the latest developments.
We have held nine "Information" class support seminars in the past, including some not sponsored by the university.We will continue to work with teachers at schools to create future "information" classes through these seminars.Thank you for your continued support.
