Many parents and children gathered for the KCG-supported "Draw it, take it, and shoot it! Drawing Workshop".A large mosaic artwork representing cultural assets on display at the Kyoto National Museum is also on display at the Kyoto Aquarium's "Exchange Plaza" on July 8, 2017.

The KCG Group, including The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), has been held since July 2017 in collaboration with the Kyoto Aquarium (Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City) and the Kyoto National Museum (Higashiyama Ward, the same city). The event “Draw and take a picture! We cooperate with "drawing workshops".KCG student staff and faculty members put children's drawings of fish into original frames using cutting-edge IT (information technology) and projected them on the wall of the aquarium's "Exchange Plaza," where they were taken for commemorative photos. The event will run through September 3 and will be held one day a week, either on Saturday or Sunday.

Draw it and take it!" In addition to the "Drawing Workshop," KCG staff will create mosaics from drawings of Japanese pond turtles, carp, lobsters, clams, and octopuses submitted by children from all over Japan, and display seven large art works representing cultural properties on display at the Kyoto National Museum. Each panel contains a total of 10,000 works, again utilizing KCG's state-of-the-art technology.

The purpose of "Aquarium and Aquarium" is to have children learn about the background of the works by comparing the creatures that appear in the works exhibited at Kyoto National Museum with those that swim in the Kyoto Aquarium. In addition to the workshops conducted by KCG, various other events will be held. For more information, please see below.
