On March 11, 2017, a joint job fair was held at Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), where 15 companies in the game and animation industry gathered to welcome students interested in becoming game and animation creators. This was the fourth time that "Job Jam Kyoto 2017," a joint job fair organized by the Kyoto Indie Game Seminar Executive Committee and others, was held. 11 game-related companies based in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka exhibited, while "Ani Job Kyoto 2017," a joint job fair for animation-related companies, was also held, with four animation production companies based in Kyoto, including GAINAX Kyoto Corporation, where Yasuhiro Takeda, professor at Kyoto Computer Graphics Graduate Institute (KCGI), is the representative director, exhibited.

More than 300 people, including students from KCGI and KCG, visited the venue.Because of the importance of free ideas and creativity in the game and animation industry, casual attire, not suits, is encouraged at these information sessions. At the booths of each company, the students listened intently as company representatives explained about job openings for game programmers, game designers, game planners, 3D designers, and other positions, as well as the characteristics and appeal points of their companies. The venue was filled with the enthusiasm of young people from start to finish, with standing room only at the most popular booths.
