A classical concert "Viennese Trio" commemorating the 50th anniversary of the KCG Group was held on December 7 at the Kyoto Ekimae Satellite Concert Hall of the Kyoto Institute of Information Science.Daniel Goethe, violinist and former concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic (professor at the Nuremberg University of Music), Yoko Foog, pianist and well-known for the Vienna Piano Quintet, and Joergen Foog, cellist and member of the Vienna Philharmonic, played a piano trio that attracted many members of the public and students who visited the concert.
The two pieces performed were Mozart's "Piano Trio No. 6 in G major, KV.564" and Schubert's "Piano Trio No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 99".The soft music filled the hall, and visitors applauded loudly, demanding an encore.
Since its foundation, KCG Group has incorporated general education courses into its curriculum to cultivate the intellect and sensitivity of students as well as specialized skills.These events are open to the public for viewing.
