The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) will hold " KCG Summer Festa 2013 " at KCG Kyoto Station School on Saturdays and Sundays from July to early August to promote exchanges with local residents as an open educational institution. We have prepared a number of events for elementary and junior high school students, high school students, and local residents to participate in.We look forward to seeing you all.
The KCG Summer Festa is held annually on July 2, the anniversary of the death of KCG's founder and first president, Shigeo Hasegawa. This year is also our 50th anniversary, and we have prepared a more substantial menu.
In addition to IT workshops for the general public, which will be conducted by TUAT students, there will be a Micromouse Kansai regional contest, workshops on astronomy, trains, and electronics, a vintage computer exhibition, a chorus, and a talk live show (held three times during the period) featuring popular voice actors and other characters under the theme "Me and IT," an event related to the 50th anniversary of TUAT.Following last year's event, the Kyoto City Board of Education has provided support. For more information, please visit the KCG Summer Festa 2013 page.
