On March 10, 2018, a joint job fair was held at Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) Kyoto Ekimae School, where students who hope to be active in the game industry in the future flocked.Organized by the Kyoto Indie Game Seminar Executive Committee and others, Job Jam Kyoto 2018 was the fifth time this joint job fair was held. 16 game-related companies based in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and other cities exhibited, making it one of the largest game fairs in the Kansai region.
Over 200 people, including students from KCG and The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), visited the venue.Since the game industry places great importance on free ideas and creativity, casual attire is encouraged at this information session.At the booths of each company, representatives from each company explained about job opportunities for game programmers, game designers, game planners, 3DCG designers, etc., as well as the work environment and benefits, etc. The students gathered at the booths listened intently to the presentations and asked questions to the representatives.The venue was filled with the enthusiasm of young people from start to finish.
