The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) 's late 2015 admission ceremony was held on September 30 (Wednesday) at the Kyoto Ekimae Satellite Large Hall and willing to take on the IT industry in the future A lot of talented people have joined the KCG family.
After a video introducing the history of the KCG Group over the past 50 years was shown to all the students, Mr. Wataru Hasegawa, President of KCGI and KCG, gave the ceremonial address.Introducing the university's educational philosophy, its history, and the KCG Group's many initiatives for the next generation, such as the ".kyoto" business and the enhancement of content business-related education, he said, "There are great possibilities for the future of all of you.While you are studying computers and IT in a friendly competition with your friends sitting next to you, think about your future.I hope that you will follow in the footsteps of our outstanding graduates and chart your own path.The faculty and staff of the University will do their utmost to back you up," he encouraged.
Then, KCGI President Toshihide Ibaraki noted that ICT is advancing very rapidly, and new technologies are being created and integrated one after another, and added, "Advanced technology has not only a positive aspect of enriching our lives, but also a negative aspect such as military use.I hope that you will not forget this duality, and that you will study a wide range of fields and grow greatly at our university," he said in his message to the new students.
