Message

I was born in Mie Prefecture and grew up in Kyoto from elementary school. I married to an American while I was a university student. My life in the United States has become longer, and Japan has become a little far away from me. I am happy to have a chance to teach at The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics.

As the world's politics and economy change at a dizzying pace, we are realizing anew how important IT (information technology) is.

In the future, students who have studied IT at The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics will be able to contribute to the global economy in a much larger scale than we, the faculty and staff, can imagine. I am confident that the management and leadership abilities of the graduates will influence not only their own lives but also future changes in the world.

Through my courses 'Organizational Behavior' and 'Leadership Theory', I am looking forward to deepening your understanding of the issues we face in the 21 century, such as the "way the world economy should be", "society, organization, and individual roles and contributions" and "meaningful work". I would like to help build a foundation for applicable knowledge and skills in the rapidly changing international community.
