As the domestic market is not expected to expand, it is essential for Japanese companies to expand into the global market, and the effective utilization of management resources has become an important issue in order to obtain added value that can compete on the world stage.I majored in ERP, which is the best at solving these problems, and challenged myself to take the certification exam.

Before entering the university, I studied game development at the KCG Game Department, and since I am more of a "hands-on" type of person than a "classroom" type, after ERP classes I would actually touch the ERP system after I got home, making lots of errors and checking the parts that were difficult to use.One year later, I was able to pass the FI (Financial Accounting) module exam.I would like to continue to challenge the exams for SD ( Sales Management ), MM ( Material Management ), PP ( Production Planning and Control ), etc. to grasp the flow of the entire ERP system.

In the future, I would like to become an ERP consultant who can visit client companies, find out what specific problems exist, and solve them based on my ERP system understanding.In order to do so, it is essential to understand our customers' work flow and systems, so I would like to continue to learn as much as I can on a daily basis.

When studying anything, it is important to comprehend what is happening.In the future, I would like my juniors who are studying in the field of ERP to not only memorize what they are taught by their professors, but also come into contact with a lot of software and acquire the ability to search and discover for themselves why things are the way they are, which is the most important thing for future businessmen.

I used to study food engineering and public health, but one day, I saw on the official website of The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) that they had a high success rate in the certification exam of SAP, a famous German company, and I decided that I would like to become an ERP consultant and be involved in system development.After that, when my professor told me that learning about ERP would help me acquire basic knowledge not only about management but also about the IT industry in general, my determination to pass the exam became even stronger.

At first, I felt a little confused about studying for Level 3 of Nissho Bookkeeping, which I had no knowledge of at all, such as journal entries, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc. However, I took the classes well and studied hard by myself, and successfully passed the FI (Financial Accounting) module exam.

At the company where I was offered a job, I received training on Java and database rules, and I feel that my knowledge has steadily increased.At this rate, I hope to further deepen my knowledge of ABAP, the original programming language used in SAP systems.

The accumulation of such knowledge and skills is crucial for career advancement.Knowledge of ABAP and bookkeeping will come in handy during and after your job search, so I hope that all of you juniors will take the initiative in acquiring this knowledge.If you learn from the basics, you will be able to pass the FI and other exams.Believe in yourself and do your best.

When I was in college, I studied business and management and became interested in ERP from the perspective of how to combine management and IT, so I decided to enter the university.Since it was my first experience with ERP, it took me a long time to understand everything from unfamiliar terms to how the system worked, and in the beginning I had to do my best to review the lessons.However, as I studied more and more, I found it interesting how the structure of ERP uses information without waste, for example, how a single master acts in the system.

In order to challenge the FI (Financial Accounting) module exam, the past questions were very useful and the course materials of the professors were also beneficial, but I think it was not sufficient, and the most important thing was to understand the system by actually experiencing the system in action.And when you make a mistake, it is important to investigate thoroughly and not leave any ambiguity as to why it happened.

The teacher was kind enough to help me with the parts I didn't understand or the cause of errors.ERP students come from diverse backgrounds, so don't hesitate to ask if you don't understand anything.I feel that I was able to pass the exam because I kept practicing to understand the material.

During the past year, the spread of new coronaviruses in Japan and around the world has dramatically changed the way people work.The power of IT is truly needed now to make the world a more enriched place.In the future, I would like to use the ERP knowledge and skills I have acquired to provide more value to various companies in distress through management, so that they do not go under and can grow better.

Initially, I wanted to study at a Japanese language school, but when I learned about The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), where I could further study business and IT, which I had studied at a university in my home country of Nepal, I decided to enter the university.After that, when I was searching for a specialty, I learned about ERP and the SAP certification exam, and decided to major in ERP because I wanted to learn about IT and SAP at the same time.

In the first semester, I learned the basics of ERP as well as programming, and in the second semester, I started to experience the system in earnest.I kept wondering, "How does this system work?However, it was a field that I truly wanted to learn, so I worked with my teachers at school to clear up any questions I had, and studied hard on my own, and was able to pass the FI (Financial Accounting) module exam first, followed by the SD (Sales and Distribution).When I took the FI exam, I was confused because it was the first time for me to take the exam, but by the time I took the SD exam, I think I had gotten used to it and was able to face the exam with more confidence.

For me, ERP has always been something I really wanted to do, and I can proudly say that it will continue to be so in the future.After entering the workforce, I hope to work with clients as a SAP consultant and help solve various issues such as DX.There are still only a few companies in Nepal that have implemented ERP.In the future, my dream is to become a bridge between Japan and Nepal and help companies that are facing challenges in my home country.

Students who are going to major in ERP should first imagine what you want to be and what kind of work you want to do.There may be times when things are difficult or painful. At such times, think about what you need to do in order to become the ideal person, consult with your seniors and teachers, and you will be fine. It's okay to make mistakes at times. Believe in yourself and do your best.

What I did was to study in both English and Japanese.Initially, I took the FI (Financial Accounting) module in English, but I found it difficult to understand some parts.My teacher advised me that I needed to understand SAP in Japanese, so I followed her advice and studied it again in Japanese, which helped me understand it better.

The same thing happened with the exams; I took the FI exam in Japanese and the SD (Sales Management) in English.KCGI offers classes in both English and Japanese modes, so I was able to switch the language of study flexibly, which was very helpful.

Now that I have passed the exam, my dream is to stand at the top of the industry with Hibiya Resource Planning, the company that chose me and gave me the job offer, and become the best.I am excited about the prospect of using the knowledge and skills I have acquired to solve a variety of problems when I actually join the workforce.

I think everyone has a lot of questions when they first start studying ERP.However, it is important to continue learning ERP.If you give up on the system after just a short exposure to it, saying that it is too broad, you will not be able to enjoy the latter half of the game, where you will gradually understand its convenience and appeal.For those of you who will be learning ERP in the future, I hope that you will not give up easily even if the contents are difficult, but overcome such anxieties and difficulties and experience the real joy of ERP.

ERP is not scary at all, as long as you listen to the teacher in KCGI classes and do the exercises and reviews properly.If you want to pass the exam, it is important to study the material that the teacher gives you in class because it is very useful.ERP is also useful for international students when they seek employment in Japan, so I hope that all of you juniors will take the exam with confidence and pass it.
