The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) has held seminars to support high schools and university teachers.

The University has established special measures (Disaster Relief Special Scholarship) to provide financial support to current students who have been affected by the earthquake and other disasters.

We will exhibit at e-Learning World 2008 again this year!

The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) will be exhibiting at e-Learning World 2008 this year. We look forward to seeing many of you there.Alumni of the University are also welcome to attend.

A reception for alumni (KCGI/KCG alumni, students, faculty, and staff) will be held on Thursday, July 31, near Oimachi Station.Alumni are cordially invited to attend.

Open Source Conference 2008 Kansai" was held again this year under the co-sponsorship of Tohoku University.

On July 18 (Fri.) and 19 (Sat.), 2008, the Open Source Conference Kansai Region will be held under the co-sponsorship of TUAT, following last year.The Open Source Conference is an event with more than 20 sponsors and more than 20 groups scheduled to participate.It will consist of exhibits by the open source community, companies and organizations, and seminars providing the latest information on open source.Please join us.

Information" Classroom Support Seminar for School Teachers

For teachers in charge of the subject "Information" in high schools

TUAT has conducted seminars and other activities to support high school teachers.Based on these achievements, the following program has been adopted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) as a training program for improving the teaching ability of science and mathematics teachers, continuing on from the previous year.We will hold a seminar to support "Information" classes as follows.We look forward to your participation.We would appreciate it if you could inform interested teachers.

Sichuan Earthquake Donation Request

The magnitude 8 earthquake that struck Sichuan Province, China on May 12, 2008, caused tremendous damage, leaving as many as 100,000 people dead or missing, and many people are still forced to live as evacuees due to collapsed houses and roads cut off.The students who have studied abroad from China at The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics and Kyoto Computer Gakuin are deeply amazed by the disaster of their home country.
