Japan's first "International IT Business Course" will be newly established in 2013

In April 2013, KCGI will open the "International IT Business Course" to train professionals in offshore development (*1), BPO (*2), and IT services to Japanese companies.Many IT-related companies in the world today are ordering software development overseas.Graduates are expected to be employed by these companies and work as transnational development specialists.There is no such course of study or research at any higher education institution in Japan.

ET Robot Contest Trial Run Held

On Saturday, August 11, a trial run of the "ET Robocon," a competition to see how well robots with embedded software can run, was held at Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG).The ET Robocon is a competition to see how smoothly a self-propelled robot of a certain specification can run on a course with various obstacles such as hills.The competition is based on the design model of the running software and the results of actually running the robot.The Kansai Conference is held every year at KCG.

Leadership Theory Group Work Debriefing Session Held

On Saturday, November 11, KCGI's Sapporo Satellite Student was held this year at the “Group Work Report Meeting” of the “Leadership Theory” held at The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI). However, we participated by simultaneous broadcast.

We participated in the Kyoto Chorus Festival!Choral Circle U-Choir

On Saturday, June 2, U-Choir, a choral circle made up of KCGI and KCG students and faculty members, participated in the 49th Kyoto Chorus Festival organized by the Kyoto Chorus Union.

This will be the second time U-Choir has participated in this choral festival since last year.The Kyoto Chorus Festival is the largest chorus festival in Kyoto Prefecture, organized by the Kyoto Chorus Association and held over three days.Approximately 120 organizations in the prefecture are participating.This time it was held at the Yawata City Cultural Center.
